I still remember the days at the first year of my college in the U.S. The school cafe food was so bad that I just couldn't eat anything other than bananas and apples they offered. So I bought $15 rice cooker from Walmart, and cooked away rice. I'd just eat rice by itself or put some Japanese seasoning (Furikake) on it.
It's been long coming, but I hated rice any rice cooker cooks in the U.S... But I finally found a way to cook rice like Japanese rice cooker does. Even better.
